Kindergarten students will take their promotion photos at school.
Spring Picture Day
Spring picture day will be on Thursday, February 12, 2026.
This is not a free dress day. Students must wear their school uniforms.
Class pictures will also be taken.
Kindergarten Round-Up
Incoming Kindergarten families are invited to attend our informational night called Kindergarten Round-Up.
The evening will include an overview of the kindergarten curriculum, introductions to our kindergarten teachers, classroom tours, and the opportunity to connect with other incoming kindergarten families.

Jingle Jog
Lace up those sneakers and jingle all the way! Our annual Jingle Jog is a fun, festive run held during lunch on the week before Winter Break. Families are welcome to cheer from the sidelines - or join the jog and dash alongside our students!
Thanksgiving Lunch
Students may invite special grown-ups and pre-school-age siblings to join them for a Thanksgiving-themed lunch during their regular lunch period. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Students from multiple grades may not come to another lunch. Please plan accordingly.
Trunk or Treat
Join us for a spook-tacular evening of costumes, candy, and creatively decorated car trunks! Bring the whole family for a safe and fun way to trick-or-treat with our school community.

Fall Fundraiser
Together we can SOAR to support HTA!
Our fall fundraiser is in full swing from Thursday, October 16 to Friday, October 24. During this ‘no-sell’ fundraiser, students are encouraged to ask family and friends for donations that support school safety and engagement activities. All funds are processed through PTO initiatives to make an impact in our HTA community, such as previous projects like the playground poles contact pads, the Book Vending Machine, and classroom privacy window coverings.
Classes will compete daily as teams to win special treats, and the top student fundraiser can win amazing prizes. If we reach our fundraising goal of $50,000, Principal Bacon will finally reveal if HTA really does have a pool on the roof!
The top three student fundraisers can win: 1st Place - Nintendo Switch, 2nd Place - Google Chromebook, and 3rd Place - Headphones
All participating students will earn raffle tickets to win other prizes. $25 raised = 1 raffle ticket

Fall Picture Day
On fall picture day, students do not have to wear their school uniforms, but their outfits must still be school-appropriate. These photos are for the yearbook.
If your student needs to participate in Retakes Day, a school uniform is required.
*Note: Spring picture day is uniform dress only.
Peter Piper Pizza Fundraising Night
Join us for an evening of fun and fundraising! A portion of sales will be donated to HTA for programming and projects.
Curriculum Night
Parents and guardians are invited to a presentation by their student’s teacher covering the curriculum and expectations for the school year. Presentations are available in multiple sessions to accommodate parents with more than one student.
PTO Meeting
Join the PTO team as we discuss current and upcoming events, fundraising, and project plans. This is a perfect opportunity to meet other parents and volunteer your time and talents to support our school.
Spirit Wear Sale
Visit our spirit wear site to order t-shirts and sweatshirts. Reminder: Students may wear spirit shirts on Fridays.
Delivery of shirts is expected on campus the week of August 10. Order here.

Meet the Teacher & Used Uniform Sale
4:30 pm - 6:00 pm Students and their families are invited to campus to find their classrooms, meet their teachers, complete important paperwork for the school year, and drop off school supplies.
4:00 pm - 6:00 pm The PTO will host our annual Used Uniform Sale in the gym. Stop by to shop - all items are $1 each! - and learn more about how you can volunteer to make our school great!
Kona Ice will be on campus selling shaved ice refreshments.

HTA Curriculum Night
The first curriculum night session will be held in your child's classroom from 5:30 - 6:00 pm, and the second - and last - session will be from 6:10 - 6:40 pm.

Fall Fundraiser
Start your holiday shopping early! Our annual Fall Fundraiser catalog sale kicks off Sept 1st and ends Sept 18th. The Grand Canyon fall fundraiser catalog has a large selection of gifts and even more items are available online. This fundraiser was a huge hit last year and we hope to make it great again this year! Top selling classroom(s) will receive special prizes sponsored by the PTO!
Panera Bread Spirit Night
Skip cooking and enjoy soups, salads, flat breads, and sandwiches! 40% of sales during this time go directly toward the PTO and school events so even if you can’t go, please share with your family and friends!
Bulk Spirit Wear Sale
Get your hawks gear delivered right to your student! We are excited to be working with a new vendor and new spirit wear styles and will hold our bulk sale from 8/7-8/20. Orders placed during this time will be shipped to the school and sent home with your student. Remember, every Friday is spirit wear day!
Used Uniform Sale
The used uniform sale is back! Most pieces are $1 with jackets/hoodies at $5. Doors open 30 minutes prior to meet the teacher. Cash only, please!
Elevate trampoline Park Spirit Night
Jump into summer break with one last spirit night of the school year! Come down to Elevate Trampoline Park (Germann Road) anytime that day for a 90 minute or an all day jump pass. Get that energy out and support HTA at the same time. See you there!

Someburros Spirit Night
Everyone knows Mondays can be rough, so skip cooking dinner and head to Someburros on Market St on Monday, April 3rd! 30% of pretax sales will be donated to the PTO so we can continue to give back to our students! It’s a win-win!
